Care.Cure…Dream. These three short words speak volumes. The Scotty Foundation supports organizations that care for children with cancer and are working to cure this tragic disease.Through our support of Camp Sunshine and the Atlanta Ronald McDonald House, we hope to care directly for children afflicted with the hardships of life’s most challenging diseases and for their families. But it doesn’t stop there. The ultimate answer is a cure, and our initial platform to help seek just that lies in the support of the Aflac Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Service of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Cure, as we are aware, is a lofty target. This is where the third word comes in: dream. As an organization, we are already dreaming the biggest dreams, and it is our hope that others will join us in those dreams as we shoot for the moon!

In addition to supporting these organizations the foundation also seeks to fund the philanthropic visions of young cancer victims. Often, a child that defeats cancer develops an exciting passion for life and believes that he/she can achieve the impossible. With proper support and funding, these children can realize their dreams of bringing comfort, hope and help to others in need. Helping a child reach for the moon, a child who will in turn help others, fulfills the Scotty Foundation mission of bringing the impossible down to earth.
