IDENTITY

Designed by TJ Georgecink, Creative Director for Studio 101 in Atlanta, the foundation’s identity captures the cause to help the many children afflicted with an endless list of medical challenges.
The moon, which appears as a balloon in the logo, was once a metaphor for the impossible.
But, in view of the naked eye – and now within reach of humankind by way of the Apollo missions – today it is representative of one of the greatest collaborations and achievements in the history of humankind.
The boy is symbolic of Scott’s “peer group,” other pediatric cancer patients who were much younger than he – and who inspired him to handle his battle with DSRCT so positively.
The name of the font selected for “SCOTTY” is Georgia, which speaks to the beginnings of the foundation.
care.cure…dream perfectly outlines the organization’s objectives in only three simple words.
The string represents The Scotty Foundation and its efforts to make the dream a reality.
